Dr. Saffirio awarded for its research work on SOFCs
Dr. Sofia Saffirio, PhD student at Politecnico di Torino, has been awarded at the XIII INSTM Congress, Advanced Materials and Green Processes for a Sustainable Society held in Sestriere (Italy), from 23rd until 26th January 2022.
Dr. Saffirio presented her research work on BEST4Hy project with a poster entitled “Optimized strategies for the recovery of critical raw materials from end-of-life SOFCs”. Its work, nominated in the category Materials and Technologies for H2 economy, has received the first award among all the categories, obtaining recognition by the international scientific community specialised in materials studies.
An important aknowledgment also for BEST4Hy and a good opportunity to give visibility to its results and progresses with other researchers.
This project has received funding from the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking (now Clean Hydrogen Partnership) under Grant Agreement No 101007216. This Joint Undertaking receives support from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation program, Hydrogen Europe and Hydrogen Europe Research.
